Welcome to The Salesian Academy of St John Bosco.

It is a privilege to welcome you to our school community, where every pupil is known, valued and supported to flourish.

Over the past three years, we have worked together to strengthen outcomes and enrich the wider experience of school life.

This has been recognised through positive external inspections, which highlight both the strengths of our school and the progress we continue to make. Our Catholic life and mission, along with pastoral care, have been judged as outstanding.

At the heart of our school are the Salesian values of respect, understanding, affection and humour. These values shape everything we do, creating a community where pupils feel safe, supported and inspired to achieve their very best, with high expectations and a strong sense of aspiration for their future.

As we look ahead, we are excited to be moving into a brand new school building in November 2026. This marks an important new chapter for our community, providing a learning environment that reflects our ambition and supports continued improvement for all pupils.

We are proud of the journey we are on and confident in our capacity to continue strengthening outcomes, deepening our Catholic life and nurturing aspiration so that every pupil is equipped to succeed and thrive.

As Headteacher, and as someone who was born in Bootle and educated locally, I am especially proud to serve this community. It is a privilege to work alongside our dedicated staff, supportive families and remarkable pupils each day.
